1.WANTED! Sexy co-eds with low moral standards (AKA tech coordinators)
Alright, so if you've ever been involved with a CAP show, you've had the unparalleled joy of watching the Techies go about their happy business and pioneering new and innovative ways of making stuff happen. And I know that you've been wondering "How can I get in on that?" Well, it just so happens that now is your chance. CAP is now accepting applications for the position of Production Co-Coordinator. This position gets you not only a chance to be on the CAP e-board, but you also get to work closely with the ever-so-lovely RJ Santana-Rodgers. Oh, and you get to boss people around too! Responsibilities include taking care of equipment, setting it up, breaking it down (all of which has been made easier now that everything is stored right in Scott Hall!) and overseeing the acquisition of new equipment should it be needed. DON'T WORRY IF YOU DON'T HAVE TECH EXPERIENCE! You will be trained by a group of seasoned professionals should you be selected.
If you're interested please send an e-mail to me (megan.schwab@collegeaveplayers.com) by saturday, february 2nd.
The e-mail should include:
your name
your phone number
your email
previous experience with CAP
previous relevant experience outside of CAP
why you want to be tech coordinator
which board member you would seduce to get this position and how
I very much look forward to reading your applications!

2.CAP Street Team
We're still looking for people to get involved in the Street Team. Don't write this off! We've been brainstorming new and interesting ways to publicize shows, and this semester's street teem should have more fun than any previous group.
Send e-mails to Andy.Wolf@collegeaveplayers.com to get involved.
CAP Street Team: It's not just for flyers anymore!

3.Auditions!!
This is just a reminder to get out and audition for this semesters shows.
Pillowman- Directed by Greg Bing and Jamie Kenney. (2/29, 3/1. 3/7, 3/8)
Zipperface!!?!- Directed by Dave Rothstadt and Erika Basedow (4/4, 4/5, 4/11, 4/12)
Auditions will be in Scott Hall this Wednesday and Thursday (1/30, 1/31) at 9:30.

4.Stand Up!
Last but not least, another reminder that the sensual, sweet, and scintillating Mollie Sperduto is searching for a protégé to help her organize this semester's Stand Up comedy show, and hopefully to take over once she leaves for the real world (as some CAPpers have been known to do) at the end of this semester. Please e-mail her at mollie.sperduto@collegeaveplayers.com as soon as possible if you're interested.

All right kids, that's all for now.
We hope to see a lot more of all of you as you take advantage of these nifty new ways to be a big part of CAP!
Love and kisses,
Meg

CAPricious CAPtion 2.0

Hey there boys and girls! Welcome back! I know you're all looking forward to starting off a new semester full of CAP shenanigans, so lets get this rolling:

1. General Interest Meeting
2. Publicity Coordinator Elections
3. Auditions for Spring Shows
4. CAP Stand Up Assistant

1. General Interest Meeting
The spring semester general interest meeting will be held this Thursday, the 24th, in Scott 135 at 9:30 PM. Stop by and meet the Board, with new Secretary Megan (me!) and Snazzy new Production Coordinator RJ! Don't worry, though, all your old favorites will be there as well. Have fun hanging out with fellow CAPpers and learn new and exciting ways to get involved!

2. Publicity Coordinator Elections
Speaking of new and exciting ways to get involved, CAP will be holding elections for a new Publicity Coordinator. In case you're wondering, being Publicity Coordinator means that you get to work with the Fabulous Andy Wolf and do super fun things like make pretty flyers for CAP shows and other gatherings, make and take out Targum ads for shows, and coordinate the revived CAP flyering squad. Sounds cool, right? You'd also get to come hang out at our super duper fun board meetings, and all your friends will be jealous.
Elections will be held during the general interest meeting on Thursday. You have to have been involved in at least one CAP show to be nominated or to vote. If you're interested in running, all you have to do is nominate yourself (or bribe a friend to nominate you, if you want to look cool) and then tell us why you'd be the best person for the job.

3. Auditions for Spring Shows
Auditions will be held in Scott 135 and 123 on Wednesday January 30th and Thursday the 31st. You can audition for both shows at the same time! Sweet!
The shows are, Pillowman, as directed by Greg Bing and Jamie Kenney (show dates 2/29,3/1,3/7,3/8) and Zipperface as directed by Dave Rothstadt (show dates 4/4, 4/5, 4/11, 4/12).
All you have to bring is your talented self. No preparation necessary.

4. CAP Stand Up Assistant
Have you seen one of CAP's stand up comedy nights? Did you sit there the whole time thinking "Wow! How awesome is this! Mollie is sooooo cool for doing this! I wish I could be just like her!" Well, if you did, now's your chance! Mollie Sperduto will be organizing another stand up show this semester at the Red Lion Café. However, as she's graduating this year, she's looking to acquire and assistant or protégé of sorts. This person would help Mollie organize the show and learn from her so that next year they can organize the show when she's gone. If you really like stand up comedy, or if you just really like organizing things, this could be for you! If you're interested you should email Mollie at mollie.sperduto@collegeaveplayers.com by the end of next week.

All right, well, that's all for now. See you at the general interest meeting!
Love, kisses, and all that good stuff,
Meg
