I hope you're doing well, and I just wanted to let you know about the latest and greatest happenings!

1. Show Some Love!
On Sunday, February 17th (That's right! That's this weekend!) The second RU Onstage event will take place at the State Theater on Livingston Ave, from 7:00-10:00 PM. Come support your fellow CAPpers, who will be performing some short original sketches (featuring History World as seen in Wacky Hijinks 07) and popping up here and there to host the event. Also, it's a great chance to see lots of the other performance groups here at Rutgers, including dancing, singing, and this one guy who just plays a bunch of instruments all by himself! You might even get to see some hardcore hula hooping! Don't miss out!
Tickets are on sale at the SAC for 5$ with a student id and for 10$ for non-students and guests.
2. Make Some Sparks
On Sunday the 24th, none other than our own VP Andrew Schertzer will be hosting a tech workshop in Scott 135. This is an excellent experience to learn everything from the proper way to fold the curtains, to how to "procure" equipment and even rewire expensive electronics in a pinch! The talented Mr. Schertzer was once a CAP production coordinator himself and has been one of the masterminds involved in some ingenious maneuvers, such as creating elaborate lighting schemes using only a mini spot and some colored plastic, and using lighting equipment to heat up leftovers! Don't miss your chance to learn all you ever wanted to know (or didn't even know you could know) about CAP tech.
The workshop will be held at 5:00 PM in Scott 135, Sunday February 24th.
All those interested are encouraged to attend.
The workshop is mandatory for the Tech team (which includes the Production Coordinators and Production Assistants)
